We understand that you may wish to stop using Stridely. You can permanently delete your account and associated data either directly through the app or by submitting a deletion request to our support team.
Option 1: In-App Account Deletion
If you still have access to the Stridely app, you can permanently delete your account:
- Open the Stridely app and navigate to your Profile screen.
- Select Manage User.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps to permanently delete your account.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 2: Web/Email Deletion Request
If you cannot access the Stridely app, you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our support team.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Stridely account whenever possible. This helps us verify the account and protect against unauthorized deletion requests.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
Once your account deletion request is processed, we will delete the personal and account-associated data that we are required to delete, including where applicable:
- Your profile information and account credentials.
- Your fitness and activity information associated with your account.
- Your step counts, activity progress, and related fitness metrics associated with your account.
- Your app usage information associated with your account.
- Your social information and fitness goals associated with your account.
Data Retention
We normally delete the personal and account-associated data covered by the deletion request within 7 business days.
In limited circumstances, we may retain specific information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or other purposes permitted or required by applicable law. Any information retained for these purposes will be limited to what is necessary and will be deleted when it is no longer required.
Important Information
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once the deletion process has been completed, your account and associated data cannot be recovered.
